Unreal Engine 2.5D Platformer

For this project, I used the study as an opportunity to work with platforming mechanics, and implementing a level around them to give an adequate challenge to the player, as well as creating unique mechanics that change the way the player approaches different platforming puzzles.
What I did:

Developed and created a mechanics gym to measure the metrics of the level.

Used Unreal Engine blueprinting system to create platforming mechanics, hazard mechanics, and checkpoint system.

Blocked out level using Unreal Engine tools.

Iterated and improved level mechanics based on playtest feedback.
